I blogged over at Kenner Road today... shared this little ditty.
Totally inspired by Anthro and some KR love. I had to share some home snap shots. I love the progress we are making. Even if we haven't really done much to the place besides clean. It definitely makes us thankful for everything.

This is us waiting for escrow to come to an end. Except it took 2 weeks longer than it should've. Here we were homeless. Staying at an extended stay hotel with lots of yummy gift cards :)

This is our sweet little space. Our bedroom is lofted. Our bed it white and soft. I LOVE our anthro pillows. With embroidered birds and flowers. Mr. Handsome just really loves that they were on sale for 19 bucks :) eh. We both win lol.

I'm always cleaning. I LOVE doing the laundry. LOVE it! It must be the fabric softener or something. I just can't get enough of the fresh clean smell. YUM.

My book is packed with ideas, swatches ( the yellow picture behind the swatch tag is an actual picture of the fabric on our accent chair we have in the living room. We loved the pattern so much we bought 2 chairs in 2 different colors :) Isn't that flower crotchet total cuteness? I have to get me some skills.
A tip for a technique I used: The KR Salmon Creek kit comes with naked chipboard letters. I simply gessoed over the top of them. Very half washed. I let them dry a little. Then dabbed a paint brush in various watercolours and then into water back over the top of the letters. Voila! It gives it a haunting appeal to the lettering I think. I likey :) Add as much or as little gesso or watercolour as your little heart desires.
